People with learning disabilities are 10 times more likely to experience sight loss. Accessing the right support can be difficult when there are multiple disabilities to take into consideration. However sight loss should not be underestimated. 

 

Here at Able we support those with visual impairments and additional disabilities to access rehabilitation and support with their sight loss no matter what additional disabilities they may be encountering. This could be a functional vision assessment to establish and explain any sight loss for a person's staff team or family. Staff training or one to one skill development to enable person to increase their independence.
